The MX8B1 – USB Type-C Breakout Module is a compact USB Type-C breakout board designed for prototyping, evaluation, and educational use. It exposes USB power, USB 2.0 data, CC, and SBU pins via standard 2.54 mm headers, enabling easy integration with breadboards, development boards, and custom circuits. Design Notes

- SBU pins are exposed for advanced use and are not required for standard USB power or USB 2.0 data.

Overview
The USB Type-C Breakout board is a compact and versatile module designed for USB-C prototyping, testing, and educational applications. It provides easy access to essential USB-C signals through standard 2.54 mm pin headers, making it ideal for breadboard use and custom electronics projects.
This USB Type-C Breakout exposes VBUS (5 V power), GND, USB 2.0 D+ and D− data lines, CC1 and CC2 configuration channels, and SBU1/SBU2 sideband pins. Onboard 5.1 kΩ pull-down resistors on the CC pins ensure proper USB-C sink detection and reliable power negotiation in both plug orientations.
Designed as a USB 2.0-compatible breakout, the board is suitable for Full-Speed and High-Speed USB applications, microcontroller interfacing, and general USB-C experimentation.
